Nate Steinwascher returns for his ninth year in frame for Le Rouge. In 2022 Steinwascher was named the Black Arrow MVP for his stellar performances in net for Detroit City FC. He ended the campaign 3rd in the USL Championship for Save Percentage with an incredible 75.2% while also coming in 4th for total saves made. Steinwascher won back-to-back Golden Glove awards while playing for Le Rouge in NISA, posting 19 shutouts and a record of 23-5-1 throughout the 2021 calendar year in NISA. He allowed just 14 goals throughout his career in the third division, posting a goal against average of 0.45 in league matches since 2020. In between time with DCFC, Steinwascher spent part of 2018 with Swedish outfit Grythyttans IF, helping the club earn promotion. Steinwascher played collegiately at the University of Detroit Mercy, going down as one of the all-time Titan greats – finishing his career top three in several categories including shutouts (t-1st, 19) and goals against average (2nd, 1.23) and earning Horizon League Goalkeeper and Defensive Player of the Year plaudits.
