After clinching a playoff berth for a fourth consecutive season, Detroit City FC heads into the postseason as the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference and will take on perennial powerhouse Louisville City FC. LCFC won the first two meetings between the teams in 2025, the first a 2-0 victory at Lynn Family Stadium on March 29 and then a 1-0 win six months later at Keyworth Stadium on September 27.
