Detroit City FC today announced it will host USL Championship side Indy Eleven for a friendly match at Keyworth Stadium in Hamtramck, Mich., on Tuesday, August 13.
The first-ever meeting between the two clubs will kick off from at 7:30 PM ET.
Established in 2013, Indy Eleven played four seasons in the NASL before moving to the then-USL (now USL Championship) in 2018. DCFC Head Coach Trevor James served as Technical Director of Indy Eleven from 2017-2018 and oversaw the club’s transition to the USL.
Indy Eleven plays its home games at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The August 13th friendly marks Indy’s first in-season friendly in club history.
Tickets for DCFC vs. Indy Eleven will be available for purchase for just $12 at tickets.https://www.detcityfc.com starting Friday, May 17. Tickets will be $15 at the gate on matchday.
Indy Eleven tops off the list of DCFC’s opponents visiting Keyworth Stadium for friendly matches in 2019. Detroit will host Liga MX’s Lobos BUAP on Wednesday, July 10 as part of the club’s annual S3 International Series presented by Strategic Staffing Solutions; City will also host Atlas FC of Liga MX on Saturday, September 7 presented by DTE Energy.

While DCFC’s Gold Card premium season ticket package sold out, its standard season ticket option, the City Card, is still available for purchase. The City Card starts at $120 and grants entry to all 16 home matches in 2019, including every DCFC friendly match.
