Each week, leaders of the DCFC front office will set aside time for owners and fans of the club to set up a call to discuss anything pertaining to the organization, the sport of soccer, or even the City of Detroit. Please include a phone number where you can be reached.

Abi Varghese – Partnership Sales Manager
Abi Varghese joined the DCFC front office in June 2022 after completing his undergraduate degree and has lived in Metro Detroit his whole life. He leads strategic efforts to grow relationships with corporate partners, aligning their objectives with the club’s mission and values. Passionate about connecting brands with community-driven sports, Abi works to build authentic partnerships. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, MCing weddings, and taking the mic during halftime activations.
Alex Wright – Chief Creative Officer/Co-Owner
Alex Wright is a Detroit native and one of the original founding owners of Detroit City FC. An award-winning TV producer, Wright is the club’s Chief Creative Officer. He oversees many of the outward-facing facets of the club, particularly broadcast and marketing operations, design, and story development. He is also the club’s primary contact for PR and Media purposes.Wright graduated from the University of Michigan with two BA’s: Film and Video Studies and Italian Literature and Culture. He lives in Detroit with his wife and two daughters who enjoy participating in DCFC Youth Soccer Tots.
Andrew Flynn – Chief Revenue Officer
Andrew joined the Detroit City FC front office in 2025 as Chief Revenue Officer. He brings over 13 years of experience in Major League Soccer, including a six-year tenure with Austin FC. Andrew is a recent Detroit resident and is dedicated to helping the club build on its incredible foundation. He has a passion for creating a vibrant, community-focused soccer culture.
Archer Guanco – Operations and Technical Analyst
Archer joined Detroit City full time after interning with the club for two years. A Michigan native, he graduated from Michigan State in 2025 with a degree in Sports Management and Journalism. Archer was born and raised in Michigan and has supported Detroit sports his entire life.
Bella Crispino – Marketing Manager
Bella joined Detroit City FC in August 2023 as the club’s first-ever Marketing Manager.A graduate of Lawrence Technological University with a Bachelor’s degree in Media Communication specializing in Film and Broadcasting, Crispino was born in Dearborn, Michigan, and spent much of her youth in South America, living in Mexico City, Mexico; Salvador and São Paulo, Brazil; and Valencia, Venezuela. Her career began in 2019 as an intern with the Detroit Tigers before moving into creative roles with the Daytona Tortugas and the Brooklyn Cyclones of Minor League Baseball. Most recently, she led Marketing and Creative for the Tulsa Oilers.
Bryce Wolff – Account Executive
Bryce graduated from Indiana University in 2024 with a Sport Marketing and Management degree. This is his second job out of college as he joined us from NASCAR in Daytona Beach. Bryce is passionate about all Detroit sports and loves being back in his home state of Michigan.
Chelsea Styma – Operations Coordinator
Chelsea Styma is the Operations Coordinator at Detroit City FC, where she began as matchday staff and worked her way up through several roles since joining the club 3.5 years ago. She earned her Sport Management degree from Wayne State University and has lived in Detroit for six years. Her hands-on experience gives her a strong grasp of both game-day execution and facility operations. Chelsea’s deep connection to the community aligns with the club’s mission of local pride and impact.
Cody Abner – Merchandise Coordinator
Cody joined Detroit City FC’s front office in 2023 after starting with the club in 2021 as a Match Day Staff Lead. A South Lyon native, he earned a BS in Recreation with a focus on Sports Management from Western Michigan University and an MA in Sports Administration from Wayne State University. Cody has experience with Kalamazoo FC, the Flint City Bucks, and the Fredericksburg Nationals. His background spans both soccer and baseball operations. He brings a well-rounded perspective to DCFC’s growing front office team.
Cooper Baker – Director of Soccer Operations
Cooper joined the DCFC front office in 2020 as League & Facility Manager, overseeing operations at the Detroit City Fieldhouse. He later became involved in soccer operations, serving as away team liaison before advancing to Manager of Soccer Operations in 2025. Now as Director of Soccer Operations, he supports the Men’s team’s daily logistics, ensuring players and staff have the resources they need to succeed. A Northwood University graduate with a BBA in Sports and Entertainment Management, Cooper also coaches in the City Youth travel program and holds a U.S. Soccer “D” License.
Cortney Reno – Director of Partnership Activation
Cortney joined Detroit City FC in 2025 with nearly two decades of experience in event strategy, sponsorship activation, and marketing. She has led large-scale global events, hospitality programs, and brand activations across sports, automotive, and entertainment. A University of Michigan alum and former professional golfer, she’s passionate about travel, painting, and Detroit, and about bringing people together through unforgettable experiences.

Daniel Davies – Facilities Maintenance and Improvements Manager
Daniel began with the club in 2022 as a game day bartender while working full-time in brewery maintenance. He joined DCFC full-time in late 2023, assisting all departments with creative problem-solving. His interest in mechanical and structural systems began at age seven when he got his first toolbox to build bike ramps and forts. Today, he brings that hands-on expertise to supporting the club’s operations.
Emma Scherf – General Manager of Food & Beverage
Emma joined the DCFC staff full-time just ahead of the 2023 season. She’s a Michigan native with a passion for music, all things Detroit & craft beverages. Emma has a history with a wide range of hospitality groups across Metro Detroit. Most recently working with a group of breweries around the Detroit area.
Evan Lewandowski – Project Manager
Evan joined Detroit City FC in 2025 to help lead the new stadium project after spending the past decade at the forefront of several key development initiatives across the region. He is a proud Detroit resident and soccer enthusiast and continues to play in various city leagues in his free time.
Josh Podziokwski – Operations Assistant
Josh started at DCFC as a part of the Match Day Staff team and as a Fieldhouse Supervisor at the Detroit City Fieldhouse. A graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Josh began his current role in early 2025. You can catch Josh on match days enjoying the smash burger from the City Clubhouse.
Kaissa Moon – Club Administrator and HR
Kaissa began volunteering with City Youth, DCFC’s youth travel club, in 2018 and later became Club Administrator and lead of the admin team. In 2020, she joined DCFC’s front office as bookkeeper and administrative support, continuing to handle HR tasks and youth club duties. She lives in Detroit with her partner and six kids, three of whom play for City Youth teams and have been DCFC fans since 2016. Outside of work, Kaissa enjoys attending her kids’ soccer games, knitting (though not very well), reading, and fostering dogs for Canine Companion Rescue Center. She is also an active doula, supporting empowered births.
Karim Bujaidar – Ticket Operations Supervisor
Karim joined Detroit City FC in 2021, starting out as a Fieldhouse Supervisor and Match Day Lead before moving into the front office later that year as the Ticket Operations Supervisor. With a BBA in Sports and Entertainment Management from Northwood University, he brings both a strong business foundation and hands-on event experience to the role, making sure match days run smoothly for fans and staff alike. Born in Mexico, he has a love for photography, all things art-related, reading, and youth coaching.
Kevin Brehmer – Director of Operations and Merchandise
Kevin joined DCFC in April of 2017 as Operations Coordinator, overseeing both retail and stadium operations duties. Kevin graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Marketing and Logistics Management in 2012. He previously worked with the Lake Erie Crushers in Avon, OH, and Delaware North at Comerica Park in Detroit, MI.
Kyle Clayton – Director of Video Production
Kyle joined DCFC in 2022 while completing his Masters degree in Sports Media and Storytelling from Wake Forest University. A native Michigander, Kyle has worked with Ferris State University Athletics and the Midwest Premier League in the past.
Liz Bussey – Accounting Manager
Liz is a seasoned accounting professional with over 18 years of experience across both non-profit and for-profit sectors. She specializes in audit work and developing processes for stronger financial controls. Liz also supports entrepreneurs through business startups, from state and IRS registration to setting up accounting systems and HR policies. A lifelong Southeast Michigan resident, she’s a passionate supporter of local community programs. She’s excited to be part of a company so deeply connected to the community.
Luis Trinh Nava – Graphic Design
Luis Trinh Nava is a creative professional with expertise in art direction, motion graphics, design, video production, and photography. He holds a BFA in Art from CSU Northridge and has built a strong career in content creation and brand development within the sports industry. Luis has worked with major organizations including the NWSL, MLS, USL, and NBA. His creative vision helps elevate storytelling across platforms. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his family.
Luciano Marcon – Retail Coordinator
Luciano is the Retail Coordinator for Detroit City FC, joining the front office in spring 2025 after working with the club since 2019 in various roles. A Dearborn Heights native, he previously served as a Match Day Staffer and Fieldhouse Supervisor. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Detroit Mercy, with minors in Legal Studies and Leadership. Luciano is passionate about soccer, community, and service. In his free time, he enjoys reading and volunteering.
Lydia Fowler – Ticket Sales Coordinator
A graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Communications and Sports Management, Lydia began her career in sports as an intern with Detroit City FC and stepped into her current role in January 2025. Born and raised in Michigan, she has always been a passionate supporter of Detroit and its sports teams.
Makenna Mascaro – Account Executive
Makenna joined Detroit City FC in the fall of 2024. Graduating from Adrian College with a Business Administration degree as well as being apart of the Adrian Women’s Soccer team, she is passionate about sharing the love of the game. She is a head youth soccer coach of two teams at Detroit City FC Downriver and the head JV boys soccer coach at Riverview Highschool. On match days, you can find her snacking on Balkan House!
Maxwell Murray – Youth Programs & Community Engagement
Maxwell joined Detroit City FC in March 2024 to support youth programming and expand access to the game across Detroit. A proud Detroiter, he first connected with the club as a summer intern in 2017. He studied African and Black Diasporic Studies at DePaul University, where he founded The Urban Football League to use soccer as a tool for cultural expression and community building. At DCFC, he leads efforts to break down barriers to participation and chairs the Youth Travel Program’s Community Resource Group. Outside of work, Maxwell enjoys dancing to house music and playing street soccer with friends.
Megan Abela – Corporate Partnerships Coordinator
Megan Abela joined Detroit City FC’s front office in 2023 as a Corporate Partnership Coordinator with a focus on Activations. She has been part of the club since 2021, previously serving as Match Day Staff and Fieldhouse Supervisor. A Redford native, Megan earned her BBA in Sport Management from Adrian College (‘21), where she played on the Women’s Soccer team, and later completed her MBA at Wayne State (‘23). She also gained experience with the Detroit Tigers, Pistons, and Motor City Cruise. Outside of work, you can still find Megan playing in DCFC’s Co-Ed Adult Leagues with the Downriver Rats and Overtime SC.
Noah Hochstetler-Strategy Analyst, Ticket Sales & Marketing
Originally from Iowa, Noah grew up on a small family farm before attending the University of Iowa. After graduating, he moved to southeast Michigan, working in automotive sales before joining DCFC’s front office in January 2022. He now analyzes sales data and trends to guide the club’s ticketing and marketing strategies. Outside of work, Noah enjoys Detroit’s vibrant community, local food and drink spots, rec sports, and cheering on the Hawkeyes and Detroit teams.
Rahsaan Norris – Ticket Sales
Rahsaan graduated from Central Michigan University. Rahsaan then went back to school at Southern New Hampshire University to further his education (online). Rahsaan is from Detroit, MI. Rahsaan spends Sundays watching American Football. Rahsaan enjoys treats supporters bake for him.
Sean Mann – Chief Executive Officer/Co-Owner
Sean Mann is a co-founder and the CEO of Detroit City FC. Before joining the club full-time, he spent over a decade in political roles in Lansing. A graduate of Kalamazoo College and the University of Bristol, he also served as a researcher in the UK House of Commons. Sean lives in southwest Detroit and is active on several nonprofit boards. His deep ties to the city help guide his leadership in community and corporate relations for DCFC.
Steve Fox – Vice President of Ticket Sales & Service
Steve joined the DCFC front office in September 2021 after 20 years with the Detroit Tigers, including 15 as Director of Ticket Sales. He oversees the club’s ticket sales department and box office operations, focusing on retention and growth of season, group, and single-game sales. Steve holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, an MBA from the University of St. Thomas – Opus College of Business, and a JD from Hamline University School of Law. He is also a licensed attorney.
Todd Kropp – Chief Operations Officer/Co-Owner
Todd Kropp is one of the original founding owners of Detroit City FC. Kropp left the Henry Ford Health System after 12 years to assume a full-time role as the Club’s Chief Operating Officer. He oversees finances and operations for DCFC as well as at the City Fieldhouse and City Clubhouse. He also oversees DCFC’s youth development and programming. Kropp graduated from Allegheny College with a BA in Political Science and Mathematics, and he earned a Master’s from the University of Michigan in Health Management & Policy.
