Detroit City FC (DCFC,) in collaboration with Uncommon Heights Productions, has released the third installment of its monthly storytelling series, “Where We Stand” on the club’s YouTube channel.
The monthly film series follows the people, perspectives, and purpose that shape the AlumniFi Field stadium development project as DCFC builds its forever home. Each installment connects the physical development of the club’s future stadium with the personal stories that give the project meaning.
The newest film “Where We Stand: On Purpose,” follows Detroit City FC co-founder and CEO Sean Mann as he reflects on the club’s unlikely beginnings and the vision that has carried it forward.
From a founding group up against all odds to a team built against all odds, Mann looks back at the people, challenges, and defining moments that shaped Detroit City FC. His perspective traces the club’s path from a grassroots startup to a community-driven institution, while considering the responsibility of carrying that identity into its next chapter.
As the club enters a new era, “Where We Stand: On Purpose” explores what it means to build something bigger than a team, and how the lessons of the past continue to shape Detroit City FC’s vision for the future.
As DCFC continues its journey toward AlumniFi Field, “Where We Stand” remains focused on the human stories behind the project. The series frames the stadium not simply as a venue, but as a future gathering place built around the identity, culture, and shared aspirations of the communities that make up Detroit City FC.
