Detroit City FC’s USL W League side returns to Keyworth Stadium on Wednesday, June 3, hosting AFC Ann Arbor (1-1-2) at 7:30 p.m. ET in an early Great Lakes Division matchup between two familiar Michigan opponents. The W League has named the contest among its top five matches of the week. by After opening the season with a 2-1 road win against Ann Arbor, thrilling 1-0 victory over Kalamazoo FC, and continuing its early schedule in division play, Le Rouge now returns to Keyworth with a chance to build momentum at home as the table begins to tighten.
Detroit (2-1-1) enters the match looking to turn a positive opening stretch into another strong result in front of the home crowd. With little separation across the division in the early weeks of the season, Wednesday’s contest gives City another opportunity to protect ground in the standings while continuing to establish its rhythm on both sides of the ball.
