DETROIT—Today, Detroit City Football Club announced the departure of forward Ali Coote after the club agreed to a deal with Shelbourne FC of the League of Ireland Premier Division to sell him. The club wishes him well going forward.
Coote joined the club ahead of the 2024 season, appearing in eleven matches for Detroit City, including nine in the USL Championship. In his appearances, Coote scored a goal and notched an assist.
