There’s a lot on the line as Detroit City FC enters its final match of the 2019 NPSL regular season.
The Boys in Rouge end the season with a visit to Kalamazoo FC on Saturday, July 13. Kickoff is at 3 PM.
City clinched the regular season Great Lakes Conference championship with a 3-1 win at AFC Ann Arbor last Sunday, securing its first conference championship since 2013 and its first playoff berth since 2017, when City went on to win the Midwest Region.
For the 2019 Midwest Region playoffs, the top 2 teams from the Great Lakes Conference, East Conference and North Conference qualify (total of 6). A breakdown of the playoffs format from NPSL.com:

- Top 2 overall seeds receive a Bye into the Midwest Region Semifinals
- Seeds 3 thru 6 will be split geographically with the two western-most teams playing each other, and the two eastern-most teams playing each other
- #3 Seed will host a quarterfinal match against the team seeded 4-6 that is closest to them, based on the geographical split noted above. The remaining two teams will play each other with the higher seed hosting
