With the 2019 regular season kicking off this weekend, Detroit City FC announced its major sponsors and new programs at its fifth annual Soccer Prom event held at Hamtramck’s Ant Hall on Tuesday night.
As a key part of its first-ever season with a professional roster, Detroit City FC announced a new partnership with Stroh’s, who is the club’s title sponsor for the 2019 season.
The partnership includes the placement of the Stroh’s logo on the front of all 2019 jerseys, and a Stroh’s concession stand built out of a repurposed shipping container at Keyworth Stadium.
Strategic Staffing Solutions returns as sponsor of DCFC’s annual International Series. On July 10, Detroit will host Liga MX side Lobos BUAP for its first-ever game in the United States. As part of the partnership, the Strategic Staffing Solutions logo will appear on the sleeve of all 2019 jerseys.
DTE Energy will again sponsor an international match when DCFC hosts historic Mexican club Atlas FC on September 7. The match marks the Guadalajara-based club’s first trip to Michigan.
Joining Stroh’s and Strategic Staffing Solutions on all 2019 DCFC Adidas jerseys is Henry Ford Health System, who returns as the Official Sports Medicine Provider of DCFC. Henry Ford Health System athletic trainers and physicians will assist players at all home matches and training sessions in 2019.
In addition to its DCFC International Series and 2019 jersey sponsorship, Strategic Staffing Solutions will once again sponsor the S3 Biergarten at Keyworth Stadium.
Lyft will return as a key partner for the 2019 season, with an improved Lyft pickup location at Keyworth Stadium in Hamtramck, Mich., and a 25% discount for all fans who use Lyft to attend DCFC matches. Lyft will also feature flat-fare discounted rides directly from the Detroit City Clubhouse to the stadium on matchdays.
Axle Brewing Company, Blake’s Hard Cider Company, and Stroh’s return as official alcohol partners of DCFC. Joining the mix of beverages at the stadium is Brew Detroit, which will feature Cerveza Delray. Fans over the age of 21 will be able to enjoy Stroh’s, Axle products including CITY Pale Ale, as well as Blake’s products, including its branded hard cider Cider ‘Til I Die, at Keyworth Stadium all season long.
Detroit City Distillery, the Official Liquor of DCFC, returns but will now also feature City Gold, the limited edition DCFC-themed moonshine, at City home matches.
Rip It Energy returns as the Official Energy Drink of Le Rouge and will present the attendance at the conclusion of each match. Faygo returns as Official Pop of Detroit City FC. The club will continue to sell Faygo products on matchdays.
Level One Bank returns this season to sponsor the Level One VIP section, which provides fans with the ultimate VIP experience on matchdays. At each home match, fans can enjoy on-field seating, food and drinks for just $50.
DCFC is excited to extend its partnership with Wheelhouse Detroit to provide fans with a free bike valet at every home match at Keyworth Stadium. Fowling Warehouse returns as the Official Prematch Bar.
Detroit City FC is also glad to welcome back great partners like MotorCity Casino Hotel as its Official Hotel and Casino Partner and host of all of DCFC’s visiting opponents.
Leading up to the 2019 season was a prolific off-season, which included the announcement of the Founders Cup and the launch of DCFC’s first professional roster; the opening of DCFC’s own indoor training space and facility, City Fieldhouse; the opening of the club’s own bar and restaurant, City Clubhouse; the installation of new turf at Keyworth Stadium, in partnership with the Ralph Wilson Foundation and Hamtramck Public Schools and the City of Hamtramck; and the installation of new suites at the stadium.
The historic 2019 season opens with a road match on Sunday, May 12. Detroit hosts Kalamazoo FC on Sunday, May 19 for its home opener at 5 PM ET. General admission tickets start at $12 and can be purchased at tickets.https://www.detcityfc.com.
