Join Detroit City FC for an opening reception party on Monday, July 9 alongside Club Necaxa ahead of the clubs’ international friendly on Tuesday, July 10!
The reception will be held from 7-8 PM next Monday at Amnesia in MotorCity Casino Hotel.
Supporters will have the chance to meet players and leadership from both clubs, and the night will also include a Q&A session with U.S. national team player Ventura Alvarado.
The event is free and open to the public. There will be a cash bar with heavy hors d’oeuvres.
Next Tuesday’s international friendly at Keyworth Stadium will mark the first time a top-tier Mexican side has visited Michigan in decades.
Based in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Club Necaxa plays in Liga MX. Necaxa is coming off a Copa MX championship, having beat Toluca 1-0 on April 11, 2018 to capture the title.
