Today Detroit City FC announced the makeup of its 2018 National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) Great Lakes Conference and preliminary details on its 2018 season schedule.
Detroit returns to the NPSL Midwest Region, which in 2018 will be comprised of three conferences: Great Lakes, East, and North.

Detroit City FC is joined in the conference by returning teams FC Indiana, Kalamazoo FC, AFC Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids FC and Milwaukee Torrent.
Expansion team FC Columbus was announced on January 15. The newest member of the Great Lakes Conference, FC Columbus will play its home matches at Grandview Heights High School in Columbus, Ohio.
The 2018 NPSL Great Lakes regular season will feature a balanced 12-match schedule with home-and-away fixtures between the seven teams.
Le Rouge is coming off its most historic season, which saw the club claim the 2017 Midwest Region Championship and reach an attendance record when it hosted the national semifinal in front of 7,500 fans at Keyworth Stadium.
