The second annual Detroit City FC Soktoberfest is coming to Keyworth Stadium.
Join Le Rouge on Saturday, September 30 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for an all-day extravaganza, featuring beer, food and 3v3 soccer.
In the spirit of Oktoberfest, the best local brews from Stroh’s, Axle Brewing Co. and Blake’s Hard Cider Co. will be flowing in the Keyworth biergarten all day and night.
Soktoberfest presented by Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers will also include music, fowling courtesy of Fowling Warehouse and more!
Alongside Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers, DCFC will also be collecting used soccer equipment donations at Soktoberfest. Players and guests are encouraged to bring gently used soccer gear to benefit community organizations.
Soktoberfest admission is FREE to attend and open to the general public.
SOKTOBERFEST 3v3 TOURNAMENT
The Soktoberfest co-ed 3v3 tournament will be comprised of four separate tournaments for the following age groups: ages 9 and under; ages 10-13; ages 14-17; and ages 18+.
Players aged 18+ may select either the competitive division (optional co-ed) or the recreational division (mandatory co-ed). For the recreational co-ed division, one female per team must be on the field at all times.
Each team is guaranteed three matches, followed by playoffs. Maximum seven players per team. Players are encouraged to bring one light shirt and one dark shirt.
The cost to play is $60 per team.
Registration for each tournament is online only. No walk-ups allowed. The deadline to register is midnight on Thursday, September 28. Age groups 9 and under, 10-13, and 14-17 will play from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For these age groups, each team must have at least one responsible parent/guardian at Keyworth on Sept. 30.
The co-ed tournaments for ages 18+ will begin at 4 p.m.
