This season, Detroit City FC will stream all seven of its National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) regular season home matches and its May 27th international match vs. Glentoran FC on foxsportsdetroit.com and Facebook Live.
DCFC’s livestreams are presented by the club’s title sponsor, Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers.
Le Rouge began streaming matches in 2015. In 2016, DCFC’s livestreams presented by MDCD reached more than 3,000 viewers per match from 48 different countries around the world.
This season, DCFC play-by-play commentator, Neal Ruhl, will be joined by color analyst John Kreger for select livestreams.
Ruhl, who joined the broadcast team in 2015, is the Director of Broadcasting and Social Media at Oakland University, where he also serves as the lead play-by-play announcer for Oakland men’s basketball on WDFN 1130-AM, Oakland’s flagship station, as well as the lead play-by-play announcer for all sports on TV20-Detroit as well as ESPN3.
Kreger joins the broadcast team in the color analyst’s role this year after making his DCFC broadcast debut during Le Rouge’s win over Dayton at Keyworth last season. He has served as a host and correspondent covering soccer for talkSPORT radio in the United Kingdom, and has also worked for the Michigan State University Spartan Network and WDFN-AM in Detroit. He is a play-by-play broadcaster for several sports on the Michigan High School Athletic Association Network, and is the Assistant Station Manager at WSDP-FM in Canton.
DCFC is proud to partner with Fox Sports Detroit again this year. FSD – home of the Detroit Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings and Lions – delivers more than 350 live local events to over 3.2 million households in Michigan and the surrounding region.
