Detroit City FC is proud to announce its participation in the City of Detroit’s new Detroit ID initiative.
The Detroit ID is a municipal identification card available to any city resident ages 14 and older, regardless of immigration or housing status, criminal record or gender identification.
In 2017, all Detroit ID holders will receive a buy one get one free discount when they purchase general admission tickets on matchday at Keyworth Stadium.
The program is designed to provide immigrants, senior citizens, the homeless and others with additional means to access city programs and services and provide identification to law enforcement, as well as provide discounts at different businesses and cultural activities across the city.
DCFC was in attendance for the official launch of the D-ID program, which took place at the Charles H. Wright Museum on Wednesday, December 7.
DCFC is proud to be one of several organizations participating in the program to help bring inclusiveness and connectedness to our city.
