Detroit City FC and its title sponsor, Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers, are teaming up to support Special Olympics Michigan (SOMI) on Saturday, October 8.
Supporters are encouraged to bring new or gently used soccer equipment (soccer balls, shinguards, cleats, etc.) to City’s October 8th match, with all donations benefitting SOMI.
Gear donations will be collected in the bed of a truck provided by Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers, which will be parked near the entrance.
Kickoff for Saturday’s match at Keyworth Stadium is 7 PM ET. City’s Old Boys will host Mundo Latino in the final match of the year.
Detroit City FC is proud to support Special Olympics Michigan, which provides free sports training and athletic competition for more than 23,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities every year.
