Last week was a busy one. If you happened to blink, you may have missed our community investment milestone, our 2016 schedule release or our third-consecutive U.S. Open Cup berth.
But don’t fret, we’re here to review the “fleury” of news that broke in the past week.
HEAD COACH BEN PIRMANN WILL RETURN IN 2016
Le Rouge announced its leader, Ben Pirmann, will be back for his fourth year at the helm. Pirmann has amassed a 28-6-7 National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) record in three seasons with the club and sits high above the competition as the best dressed coach in U.S. Soccer. Read more about him here.
CITY HITS COMMUNITY INVESTMENT MILESTONE
With 12 days to go in Le Rouge’s community investment campaign to fund renovations at its new home ground at Keyworth Stadium, DCFC announced it had reached its campaign minimum of $400K, which is the amount the team needed to start the rehabilitation work.
Now with the campaign closing to investors at 11:59 p.m. on February 15, you still have time to join more than 350 supporters who’ve already invested, earn a meaningful financial return and help turn Keyworth into a stadium the soccer community and residents of Hamtramck deserve. If you’re a Michigan resident, you can become a City investor here.
