A total of four Detroit City FC players have been awarded national honors in the National Premier Soccer League’s All-NPSL Team and Supporters’ XI Team for the 2015 season. Cyrus Saydee (Michigan State) and Will Mellors-Blair (Michigan) were selected for the All-NPSL First Team and Supporters’ XI First Team, while Zach Schewee (Bowling Green) was named to the All-NPSL Second Team and Supporters’ XI Second Team. City captain Josh Rogers (Michigan State) was named to the Supporters’ XI First Team.
Both the All-NPSL and Supporters’ XI teams are national accolades. The All-NPSL teams were privately voted on by media members who covered the NPSL in 2015. The Supporters’ XI team voting was open to all supporters across the NPSL via an online survey.
