After School Program – Amelia Earhart

Inspired by The Urban Football League and supported by Detroit City FC, the program highlights soccer’s global ties to the Black diaspora through history, art, and community. Students will develop soccer skills, teamwork, and confidence while building cultural awareness, pride, and a meaningful connection to Detroit City FC and the local soccer community.

Introducing 3rd – 4th grade students to soccer fundamentals while building a connection to Detroit City FC! This 4-week after-school program runs Mondays from 4/6/26 to 4/27/26, 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM at Amelia Earhart in Detroit Public Schools.
