Q: Does my youth player have to play for Detroit City FC already?
A: NO. USL Academy is a sanctioned Olympic Development program through the United States Soccer Federation. All players are eligible to represent Detroit City FC at the USL Academy Cup.

February: 2, 9, 16, 21, 23, 25, 28
March: 1, 3, 6, 8

Q: What is the format of the tournament?
A: 1 match, per day. Typically early in the morning scheduled for cooler conditions. 4 matches guaranteed.

Q: Do families have to book their own travel?
A: No. Detroit City FC has pre-booked flights and hotel rooms = 1 player + 1 guardian. Families are responsible for booking any additional plane seats or hotel rooms for spouses and or siblings.
Q: Will my youth player have to miss school?
A: YES. Detroit City FC will provide a letterhead requesting an excused absence to schools if necessary. Players would miss 3/13, 3/14, 3/15, & 3/18
