Coming off a successful season in the USL Championship with Loudoun United which saw Robinson play 1958 minutes as part of the Loudoun backline, the ex-DC United defender and youth product joins Detroit City FC for his first season in the rouge and gold. Robinson made 26 appearances for DC United of the MLS between 2016-2019. 2023 will be his seventh season in the USL as he also has stints with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, the Richmond Kickers, and Arizona United.
