Detroit City FC inks forward Francis Atuahene. Atuahene is no foe to the state of Michigan, having played his collegiate career at the University of Michigan where he earned several conference honors and spending part of 2017 with the Michigan Bucks. The Accra, Ghana, native left school early to enter the MLS SuperDraft, where he was selected 4th overall by FC Dallas. In his MLS debut, Atuahene scored just 42 seconds after subbing on, which was the second-quickest debut goal in MLS history. While under contract with FC Dallas, Atuahene was loaned out to the Oklahoma City Energy (2018), Austin Bold (2019) and San Diego Loyal (2020). He spent last season with Memphis 901 under former DCFC head coach Ben Pirmann.
