Darío Suárez joins the club from FC Tulsa, where he played since the 2020 season, Suárez leaves Tulsa as their second-highest goalscorer in club history. A native of Cuba, Suárez is a name known to longtime Detroit City FC supporters as he played for AFC Ann Arbor in the National Premier Soccer League. From there, he signed for The Miami FC before joining FC Tulsa ahead of the 2020 season.
