Join Detroit City FC and Coach Javi Academy for the first DCFC Skills Camp!
This three-day camp (Wednesday, December 26 through Friday, December 28) at Detroit City FIeldhouse is open to youth aged 6-17 and will cover a variety of different topics such as dribbling, passing and receiving, shooting, and goalkeeping.
The camp is open to players of all ability levels and the sessions will range from beginner to advanced.
The main focus will be technical development but tactical concepts will also be introduced. Kids will learn from experienced coaches and former DCFC players.
Players also have the opportunity to win prizes at the end of the week!
All players should bring a ball, cleats, shinguards, and a water bottle. Players should bring their own lunch or come with money to buy a lunch at Detroit City Clubhouse.

About Coach Javi Academy: After playing the beautiful game for over 20 years at the collegiate and semipro level, Coach Javi decided to pursue his true passion: Teaching the game he loves to others. With over 7 years of coaching experience, Coach Javi has been in the club, high school, and collegiate levels. He was formerly an assistant at Gardner-Webb University (NCAA Division 1). Also an ODP and USSF "C" License coach, he strives to improve each individual with a modern approach. Coach Javi has a bachelor's degree in Physical Education and a master's degree in Sport Education.
