Le Rouge College Update

The Chanticleers currently sit at 3-5-0 (0-1-0 Sun Belt). After two tough losses to Radford and Georgia Southern, the Chants won their last game against College of Charleston. Their most recent result was an overtime loss to VCU on Sept. 24.

Louis Dargent and Tyrone Mondi are both out due to injuries, but Kervin Kenton has been regularly starting and playing full games on Coastal’s backline. Kenton has recorded 7 starts in 8 games played and 690 minutes. 

Next up, CCU visits South Carolina on Sept. 30 at 7 PM ET.


Saginaw Valley State is 5-1-1 (2-0-1 in the GLIAC). Omar Sinclair has 7 starts in 7 games, recording a goal in SVSU's 3-0 win over Northern Michigan on Sept. 15. 

Saginaw is currently riding a 3-game unbeaten streak, most recently defeating Purdue Northwest, 2-1, on Sept. 24.

The Cards sit at #1 in the GLIAC standings and #13 in the most recent United Soccer Coaches Poll.

SVSU next hosts Ashland on Sept. 29 at 2:30 PM ET.


The Titans are 5-2-2 and moving forward nicely thanks to Spiro Pliakos and Tyler Moorman. The duo are a force on offense, having scored a combined 13 goals. Both Pliakos and Moorman have tallied starts in each game for UDM 

The Titans' most recent result was a 2-2 draw against No. 16 Ohio State on Sept. 26. Pliakos scored the opening goal for Detroit. 

UDM is back in action on Sept. 30 when it travels to face Wright State in a Horizon League matchup at 7 PM ET.


The Huskies are cruising nine games into their season with a 7-2-0 record and are currently on a four-game win streak.

Luke Hauswirth has 9 starts and Elijah Rice has 6 starts. Rice has three goals so far, and Hauswirth has one goal and one assist. 

Washington's last result was a 2-0 win over Seattle on Sept. 24. Next, the Huskies host Oregon State on Oct. 1 at 6 PM ET.


Max Todd and the University of Illinois at Chicago are 3-5-1 overall (1-2-0 in the Horizon League). Todd’s Flames are currently riding a two-game winning streak after losing its four previous games. 

Most recently, UIC defeated Northern Illinois, 3-1, on Sept. 26. Todd's goal in the 68th minute was the winner.

On Sept. 30, the Flames visit IUPUI in Horizon League play. Kickoff is at 7 PM ET.


St. Edward’s sits at 7-1-0 overall (5-0-0 in the Heartland Conference, South Division). Owain Hoskins has started on the backline in 7 of the Hilltoppers' 8 games so far. He has one goal and three assists. 

The Hilltoppers are on a six-game win streak, most recently defeating Rogers State 4-2 on Sept. 28. 


Davenport University is 5-2-0 overall (2-1-1 in GLIAC). Stephen Carroll has been a rock on the Panthers backline as he continues to make start after start.

Carroll has also been active on offense, with two goals and one assist on the season.

Davenport will aim to make it two wins in a row when it visits SVSU on Oct. 1 at 2:30 PM.  


Derrick Otim and Xavier University are looking quite competitive early on with a 5-2-2 overall record (1-1-0 Big East). In their last four matches, they’ve won twice, drawn once and lost once.

Otim has been a regular starter with 9 starts in 9 games and continues to put up several shots on net.

Next up for Xavier is a Big East showdown against Providence on Sept. 30 at 7 PM ET.


The Terps are 6-0-3 overall and 2-0-2 Big Ten. Aaron Franco and his team take on September 29 against Northwestern at 7 PM ET.


The Indiana Hoosiers are #1 in the nation at 7-0-2 overall and 2-0-2 in Big Ten play. Spencer Glass recorded the game-winning assist in IU's most recent result, a 1-0 win over #1 Notre Dame on Sept. 26.

The Hoosiers host Santa Clara on Sept. 30 at 7:30 PM ET.


Providence and Colin Miller are 2-6-1 overall and (0-1-1) in the Big East. Miller has 7 starts in 7 games played and a .800 save percentage. 

Most recently, Providence lost by a 1-0 margin to UConn on Sept. 26. Next up for the Friars is a visit to Xavier on September 30 at 7 PM ET.


Zach Bock's Broncos are continuing their hot streak at 9-0-1 overall and find themselves ranked #9 in the nation. They’ve taken down Cincinnati, Butler, Oakland and also Michigan. Bock has started all 10 games.

The Broncos look to continue their domination at University of Portland on September 29 at 10 PM ET.


The Spartans are led by City head coach Ben Pirmann, assistant coach Bret Mollon and former City coach Cale Wassermann. MSU (7-1-1 overall, 2-0-1 in the Big Ten play) is ranked #4 in the country, having suffered its first defeat on Sept. 27, a 4-1 loss to #24 Akron. Next up, the Spartans host Ohio State on Oct. 1 at 3 PM ET.
