Detroit City FC returns home for final match, Members Cup trophy presentation on Saturday

Detroit City FC hosts Milwaukee Torrent on Saturday, October 19 at Keyworth Stadium in its final match of 2019. Kickoff is at 7:30 PM.

The Boys in Rouge were crowned champions of the 2019 National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) Members Cup on Wednesday night with their 1-0 win over Michigan Stars FC at Ultimate Soccer Arenas. 

The Members Cup trophy presentation, as well as the presentation for Detroit's 2019 Black Arrow MVP, will take place at Keyworth Stadium directly following Saturday's final whistle. 

Before the match, Detroit City will recognize two City legends Seb Harris and Dave Edwardson for their lasting contributions to the club. 

Gates open at 5:30 PM. The first 3,500 fans through the gates will receive a free bottle opener and koozie courtesy of Baker College.

The Members Cup championship is the second title of the year for Detroit, who is unbeaten in 23 league matches and has not lost a league match since May 19. In July, DCFC was crowned NPSL Great Lakes Conference champion. 

After Saturday's match, fans are invited back to Detroit City Clubhouse for the end-of-season party with fellow supporters, staff and players. 

A large crowd is expected on Saturday, so fans are encourage to purchase tickets for the 2019 finale ahead of time at tickets.detcityfc.com. Online tickets are $12; tickets at the gate are $15.
