Detroit City FC today announced its July 10th international friendly scheduled against Lobos BUAP will now be played against FC Juárez, due to the recent acquisition of Lobos BUAP by FC Juárez.
DCFC vs. FC Juárez is part of the annual S3 International Series sponsored by Strategic Staffing Solutions. Kickoff for the match at Keyworth Stadium is at 7:30 PM.
Founded in 2015, FC Juárez is based in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. The second division team will play in Liga MX starting with the 2019 Apertura, after it bought first division club Lobos BUAP.
FC Juárez finished runner-up in April’s Copa MX Championship, losing 1-0 to Mexican giants, Club America.
